Puppy consults: Bertie and Fly discussNorth K9 offers a variety of private consultations for those considering adding a new puppy to the family, or for those who have already got their new dog.

We know just how exciting it can be to add a new puppy to your family. It can also be a big step and can mean changes to your household, but North K9 has a wealth of experience working with puppies from a wide range of backgrounds, and the expertise to ensure you and your puppy get the best start together.

We can also arrange behavioural and training one-to-ones for puppies, including socialisation sessions with appropriate adult dogs. Please see our Private Consultation page for further details.

Pre-Puppy Consult

£20 – 1 hour

Are you thinking of getting a new puppy? Our Pre-Puppy home visit will let you discuss your plans and ideas with experienced dog trainer Claire North. Claire will offer advice and guidance to help you make informed and practical decisions, from choosing the right breed and gender for your family and home, right through to helping you find a healthy, happy puppy from reputable and responsible sources. Claire can also recommend useful resources to make sure you’re prepared for house-training and socialisation, and discuss training options for the future.

£150 – home visit + 8 weeks Life Skills course

This package includes a space on our 8 week Life Skills course in either Cleckheaton or Huddersfield, as well as a home visit tailored to your needs.

Life Skills Fast Track

£150 – Life Skills home visits

Three 90 minute home visits covering our 8 week Life Skills course content in and around your home, tailored to times that suit your family’s needs. Life Skills Fast Track is ideal for those who aren’t able to make regular classes, prefer to work in a one-to-one environment, or for those with multi-dog households.
