Since 2003, Claire has delivered dog training classes and workshops, expanding from her home base in Huddersfield to lead courses across the UK and Channel Islands. Claire has provided various training, from specialist scent and tracking workshops, to giving dog training talks and demonstrations at colleges, including presenting to newly qualified RVNs at the College of Animal Welfare and teaching at specialist animal & agriculture colleges at Askham Bryan and Bishop Burton. Claire has presented at the Kennel Club teaching event “TOTIT”, and has worked with Pets at Home designing and delivering staff training as well as featuring in their series “Puppy Podcasts”. Training days with Claire fill fast across the UK! In 2025-6, all of Claire’s training days were 95% sold out, with most additionally running a reserve list for spaces. If you’d like to host Claire for a training day, then you will need a suitable venue to deliver the course, including appropriate insurance and a Risk Assessment.

Please factor hosting costs in to pricing training days for your students; beyond a standard day rate, there are mileage costs if your venue is more than 60 miles from Huddersfield. You will also need to source accommodation depending on location. We can provide a precise estimate of hosting costs if we have your venue postcode/what.three.words, and are happy to discuss requirements prior to booking so that you can be sure you’re getting the best training options for you and your students without being left out of pocket.
